Frequently Asked Rental Questions

If you have never vacationed in the UP of Michigan or a vacation rental home before, you may have a few questions about what to expect of us and your rental.

What time is Check-In and Check-Out?

Check-in is after 3PM EST, and check-out is by 11AM EST. 

What are Keyless Locks?

Locks are keyless. The Code will be provided with reservation confirmation. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.

What if we arrive after hours?

After hour arrivals are no problem our Keyless locks provide for late night entry.

Is there an age restriction?

We do not have an age restriction.

When is payment due?

Payment is due upon reservation and pursuant to Airbnb and Vrbo payment methods.

How early should we book?

Book early. This four season luxury rental books fast. It is recommended that should you plan a “next-
year” rental , you book within one week of checkout.

Is there a minimum stay?

There is a two-day minimum stay. In special circumstances one-night stays may be considered but a set-
up and cleaning charge will be added to the standard rental.

What if there is a problem that requires special attention during our stay?

The manager lives nearby and can be contacted, however a $40/hr service fee will be levied.
